Dr. Kari A. Cunningham, began her career as a dentist in 2010. She specialized in pediatric dentistry, served nearly 6 years as a practitioner and dental director in community health centers and corporate dental practices in and around Northeast Ohio. In 2018, she returned to her hometown of Euclid, OH to establish Panther Pediatric Dentistry. As a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Pierre Fauchard Academy Leadership Fellow, and Fellow of the International College of Dentists, Dr. Kari felt her servant leadership could impact many more in a different way.
In 2024, she transformed her dental practice to be a pediatric dental sedation facility. She feels better able to increase access to care for families with children who have extensive dental needs and are unable to receive complete dental care while awake. By restoring the form and function of teeth in a child with a lot of dental needs and rebuilding their confidence with esthetic improvements Dr. Kari’s TLC: Temporary and Long-term Cosmetics has impacted the lives of thousands of children over the years. Despite all that, Dr. Kari still felt something was missing.
During the COVID pandemic, when the world came to a screeching halt and we were temporarily unable to practice dentistry, Dr. Cunningham began to contemplate how she could help others experience the world because life is too short. She became an Independent Travel Advisor with InteleTravel. Already a seasoned traveler (having sailed around the world as a part of the Semester at Sea Program in college) and engaging in multiple trips to East Africa to provide dental care to children in Kenya, Dr. Kari established VKOnthemove with her husband, travel partner and fellow Independent Travel Advisor, Vincent Otieno.
Having traveled to all 50 states as well as Washington D.C. as a married couple, Dr. Kari and Vincent still enjoy traveling the world and hosting trips with family, friends, and other interested globetrotters. Dr. Kari’s TLC: Travel - Land & Cruise is here to help fellow professionals who are too busy to “look and book” curate trips of a lifetime. After traveling the United States of America, and now tackling a trip to each continent, Dr. Kari continues to blend compassion, clarity, and credibility in everything she does.
In 2023, Dr. Kari became a Certified Life Coach as is committed to utilizing her network to bring REAL: Relevant Experiential Affordable Life-coaching events and resources to the masses. From effective communication to menopause, to navigating grief, and promoting fitness, Dr. Kari’s TLC: Temperaments and Life Coaching will help create a sense of community while providing access to knowledge, compassion, resources, and connections to navigate situations we do not discuss enough of these days. We cannot pour from an empty cup and we must take time to invest in our own health, well-being, and stability as we continue to love and care for others.
